I recently installed Ubuntu 20 on my old Macbook Pro from 2010/2011, and I noticed the battery indicator in the top right is incorrect and inconsistent. A forum post from 2015 talked about a program called acpi which reported the actual correct percentage of the laptop battery, and I am wanting to make the output from the ‘acpi’ command my actual battery indicator, rather than the shitty incorrect built-in one from Ubuntu Any ideas on how I would do this? submitted by /u/SomeAssbag [link] [comments]
